Lonely lighthouse beacons beckon to you to listen to their ghostly tales. Your costumed storyteller will guide you along pathways of glowing pumpkins by the ocean as you view local lighthouses shining their lights into the dark night.

Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse was one of the original 10 lighthouse locations in the nation - what haunted stories can it tell? The Isles of Shoals lighthouse, Whaleback lighthouse, and other coastal lights have their mysterious stories of lost loves at sea, lighthouse keepers and ghost ships. The dramatic setting makes for an unforgettable journey into lost chapters of local maritime history and lore. All of the proceeds from these walks go to lighthouse preservation for the Friends of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse, a chapter of the American Lighthouse Foundation.

What is the devil's oven? Who is the ghostly Woman In White? What happened to the crew of the Nottingham Galley that was stranded on Boon Island in the winter of 1710? Answers to these questions and much more...
