Haunted Pubs of Portsmouth Walk

New Hampshire Magazine's October 2006 Top 5 Favorite!

One of our most popular and unique tours!

Join us on our favorite tour - the Northeast's only Haunted Pub Tour. This tour serves up a delicious brew of Portsmouth's fascinating tavern history and ghost stories.  Many of these ghost stories have been whispered quietly behind closed doors and some haven't been told to the general public - until now. Who is the mischievous ghost who knocks down glasses and locks doors in one local Pub? Who are the ladies that are dressed in 19th century gowns that peer from the windows of a local tavern? Who are these mischievous ghosts that turn off lights and move furniture around in some locations leaving the servers looking over their shoulders?

Guests will take home a limited edition Mr. Deadwick's pint glass.

Portsmouth has a brewery history dating back to colonial times. Following the Civil War, beer and ale-making became Portsmouth's dominant industry. Portsmouth was home to the Frank Jones Brewery, which was America's largest ale-maker in the 19th century. The legacy of secrets from that brewery will be revealed on this tour. Guests will also learn some surprising facts from local brewing history. This tour has been featured in publications nationwide from Portsmouth Magazine to Better Homes and Gardens - come along and join us to find out what the "buzz"is all about.

When the tour ends guests will enjoy 50% off a pint at one of the most unique pubs in Portsmouth.

We also reserve the right to remove *anyone who becomes disruptive from this tour* at our discretion.

Advance purchase strongly recommended. Tours often sell out!
