Maritime Mysteries and
Ghostly Lighthouse Lore Walk

 

This guided tour visits the beautiful Portsmouth waterfront to explore the chilling true stories and haunted tales from Portsmouth's maritime past. 

See the location of Portsmouth's turn of the 20th century museum of "oddities". Truth is stranger than fiction with ghost stories from the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and abandoned Naval prison. Secret tunnels, infamous murders and much more are unearthed from Portsmouth's waterfront. Our footsteps will fall in one of the Seacoast's most historic neighborhoods, a neighborhood with a very dark past. Step back in time with us as we explore and uncover local mysterious history, ghost stories and lore.

This tour is great for locals and tourists alike, with great picture opportunities! This tour meets in front of the Point of Graves Burial Ground on Mechanic Street, off of Marcy Street, next to Prescott Park.

$12.00 for adults $8.00 for children.

Our one hour tour begins at 5:00 pm Thursdays.
